TEAM WITHDRAWAL

Due to circumstances beyond our control, CASHEL TOWN & DISTRICT DARTS LEAGUE wish to announce the withdrawal of DANSIES 'B' Team from the league. CTDDL regret the withdrawal of any team from the League but would like to thank Dansies 'B' for their participation to date and would hope to see them return next year, As a result of this all remaining games involving Dansies 'B' are suspended, with all previous results of games played  null & void. The league tables have been updated to reflect this change.
CTTDL apologise for any inconvenience caused.

CHANGE TO FIXTURE SCHEDULE

DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE LEAGUE AND THE CLOSURE OF CHIEFS PUB, THE FOLLOWING VENUE CHANGES ARE TO BE IMPLEMENTED.

1) CHIEFS DART TEAM WILL FULFILL ALL REMAINING HOME & AWAY LEAGUE FIXTURES AND KNOCKOUT PHASE AS PER THE CURRENT FIXTURE LIST ON THE SET DATES.

2) CHIEFS 2 REMAINING HOME FIXTURES VS DANSIES A & SIR ROWLANDS WILL NOW TAKE PLACE AT BROSNANS INSTEAD OF AT CHIEFS PUB ON THE SET DATE AS PER THE LEAGUE SCHEDULE.

ALL OTHER LEAGUE GAMES ARE UNAFFECTED.

TIME : 2pm SHARP    ENTRY: 100 euro per team

FORMAT: TEAM EVENT- MINIMUM 5 PLAYERS- 2 DOUBLES & 5 SINGLES
BEST OF 3 x 501. STRAIGHT KNOCKOUT. FIRST TO 4 GAMES WINS.
4 BOARDS ON THE DAY.  4 BOARD WINNERS INTO SEMI FINALS.
ORGANISERS WOULD PREFER TO HAVE ALL REGISTRATIONS AND FEES IN BY THE FRIDAY BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT (30th JULY) IN ORDER TO HAVE AN OPEN DRAW COMPLETED BEFORE THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT AS THIS WILL ENSURE AN ORGANISED AND TIMELY COMPLETION OF THIS EVENT AS A LARGE TURNOUT IS EXPECTED.
THE OPEN DRAW IS SCHEDULED FOR 7PM ON FRIDAY 30th JULY. REPRESENTATIVES FROM ANY TEAM ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND DRAW.
THIS IS AN EXTREMELY WORTHWHILE BENEFIT AND WE WOULD ASK AS MANY TEAMS AND PLAYERS TO ENTER AS POSSIBLE. (NON LEAGUE REGISTERED) TEAMS  ALSO WELCOME.

A word of Congratulations and Thanks

Cashel Town & District Darts League would like to extend Congratulations to Local and County Youth Player TOMMY QUINN on his selection to the IRISH NATIONAL YOUTH TEAM. Tommy will represent IRELAND in the upcoming EUROPEAN YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS to be held in Germany.
This is a massive achievement for this young man to be selected for International Duty and we wish Tommy all the best of sucess as he begins his international playing career.
Also we would like to extend our congratulations to JAMES GEARON from Clonmel who has once again been selected to represent IRELAND at under 21 level. This is another great achievement for James and we wish him every sucess.
Our sincere Thanks to all local and county wide players who attended last Sundays fund raising Tournament at the Brian Boru in Cashel and also the previous tournament in Clonmels GAA center. To those who could not attend but still made contributions, and all organising officers at both venues we extend our thanks and gratitude.

Welcome to the Blog page for all news, fixtures, results and tables for the new Cashel town and District darts league.

The league will commence on Friday 18th June 2010.

All participating teams should have received the full fixture list by this time.

However if you have not, I will post the fixture list on this site.

After the league gets underway, this site will be updated each week to Show the previous weeks results and the current League tables.

Thanks and best of luck to all teams involved! and remember make sure the results are texted back to the number before 6pm on the Saturday after the game or else!!!!!
